When everything in life is going well, we do nothing, achieve nothing, and just drift with the current that carries us. To turn life into a rushing river instead of a sleepy village stream, you need a "kick in the pants."
For me, that kick was betrayal, disappointment, and the realization that I hadn't achieved anything at 19. I was dependent on the people around me; I was living their lives instead of building my own.
A "loving person" turned into a "creature that hates me."
The first few months without him were strange and lonely. It’s embarrassing to admit, but I watched every series on my laptop and didn't leave the house because I had no one to go out with.
Meanwhile, they continued living their lives because they actually had one. But I simply had nothing to do. University - home - university - home.
All at once, I decided to change everything. I decided that I needed a life of my own, one that would consist only of me, my hobbies, and my activities.
I decided to find a job. I just didn't expect to stumble upon a website for jobs in America. Lying on the couch, I read the entire site from cover to cover. Given my imagination, within 20 minutes I had already been to America, experienced a summer of adventure, and returned back. I read it, and that was that. I closed the laptop. Then I opened it again and went back to the site with a clear thought: "I want this!"
A sad beginning, but for me, it became a starting point! So, welcome to my blog!
P.S. (21.04.2010) For those interested specifically in the embassy interview process, you can skip about 18 pages. Where my entries start being written in a large, even HUGE font—those are the joyful moments of my euphoria!!!!))))) Although, for example, I love reading blogs in their entirety—that way you can really feel the author... But that's just a side note...
P.P.S. And what "pushed" you into this adventure??? Or what is pushing you???)))))
