Yes, the interview was scheduled for March 11th)) we were looking forward to it)
So, we bought train tickets and 5 hours later we were in Yekaterinburg... our train left at 12 midnight and we arrived at 5 a.m... it turned out the city was still fast asleep.. and we had to stay in the VIP lounge.. an hour later, at 6 a.m. when the metro opened, we headed to the city center towards the embassy.. before that, we were told there was a coffee shop there that opened at 7 a.m., so we pinned our hopes on it) well.. what can I say, at 6 a.m. it's still cold.. and a bit dark.. and the worst part.. nothing is open(( and it's about 10 degrees outside(( it's cold(((
We had to walk around a bit.. well, not just a bit.. we walked around the embassy for about ten blocks.. and it was only 6:45(( ugh(( two more hours until opening.. nightmare.. so we decided to go to the nearest shopping mall.. knowing full well it only opens at 10.. on the way, we discovered that there was a cafe in that direction that was open(( ugh(( and here we were looking for one.. well, the time was approaching 8... we went into that cafe) uh... surprisingly, we were the first ones)) we ordered, had breakfast... it turned out we finished in 15 minutes.. and it was only 8:20.. that's how slowly time drags on..
We've been sitting for an hour now... the waitresses are already eyeing us) and you just wonder what they're plotting.. by this time, people started trickling in - some for breakfast, some just to kill time) and here we are.. it's already 9:20 and we decided to head out)))
