If one is to start a story about America, then from the very beginning: from the airplane! The flight was long... Minsk-Moscow-Washington-Denver-Jackson! I was very worried about whether I'd make all the connections, my time ranged from 1.5 hours to 55 minutes depending on the airport... In Moscow, the check-in system glitched right in front of me, and we waited a whole hour for it to be fixed. the departure was delayed by 45 minutes. Next to me stood a woman - a teacher of economics - and a man - some singer on tour - I spent a whole hour listening to their conversations about how many countries each of them had visited! And unfortunately, they said nothing interesting, I even doubt they listened to each other... More like boasting and competing... In any case, upon arrival in Washington it was necessary to go through customs control. the woman in front of me did not speak English, so the customs officer called me over and asked me to help translate... That's how, for the first time on American soil, I was paid a compliment for my good English. I was proud of it for another five hours, and then I arrived at my destination and, when I was asked about the economic situation in Belarus, realized that apart from two or three sentences I couldn't squeeze anything out of myself.... it was sad... But returning to the flights, my favorite moment is the plane lifting off the ground! Here it picks up speed, and more, and more, and now we're already flying. After that I'm no longer interested and nothing exciting happens. The main outcome of all these flights became the motto: Relax! Everything turns out very easily and without strain, all the connections succeeded without difficulty and I got enormous pleasure flying halfway around the world completely on my own! I think you should try it sometime too! : - )
