To avoid getting a U.S. visa and not go on the Work and Travel program, it is enough for you to complete at least one of the 10 items listed below:
- Be late, or oversleep the interview. The easiest and most reliable way for you to have your visa denied.
- Forget important documents, such as your passport, the DS form and so on - a sure way to "fail" the interview.
- Act strangely, dress in a strange outfit, be irrational and then you are one hundred percent not going to get a visa!
- Not a genuine Job Offer - this is a unique opportunity not to get a visa.
- Not knowing what you will be doing in America, what job you will have, that is, if you do not know the information that is set out in your Job Offer then be sure - you will not get a visa.
- Do not ask to repeat a question you do not understand - just say whatever pops into your head, for example, my name is Dmitry I am going to Pennsylvania, and so on for any unclear question - a direct way for you to be denied a visa.
- Answer as fully as possible all the questions the consul asks you, for example, to the question - what does your mother do - you will start telling the story of your whole family and so on - this is a good chance not to get a visa.
- Completely stop worrying, take valerian and slow down all your brain activity so that the consul refuses you a visa!
- Tell the consul that you are going to America to earn a lot of money, not to travel anywhere, that your sole purpose of being in America is to earn money, and then you can forget about the trip to the U.S.
- Want to stay in the U.S., enroll in a U.S. college - a sure way to spend next summer at home.
