The end of June is always exciting for me... because June 25th is my birthday!! But this birthday didn't exactly bring joy... though at least it could have been worse. On the night of the 24th to the 25th, a few greetings came in via phone and VK, the Kazakh girls hugged me and wished me all the best, my love called, Masha and Katya (hello Williamsburg)... but the 25th itself went by like an ordinary, gray, and lame day. I went to work... asked to leave early, thinking I'd come home and there would be gifts, balloons, and a cake... but nothing. I got offended, went to the mall to treat myself to something beautiful and absolutely unnecessary. I bought some mineral makeup for crazy money: powder, a brush made from the eyelashes of an endangered species of squirrel (maybe not, but it costs that much), eyeshadow... They did my makeup right there at the mall... so I spent the rest of the day looking beautiful. I went home with hope... a vague hope for some kind of celebration at home... after all, we're girls, we're friends, we talk, everyone knew about my birthday in advance... but no. I arrived home, some weren't there, some were cooking... in short, the "true spirit of Christmas." My mood was at zero, I went to get dressed and ready for the club. I thought, since no one is going to throw a party for me, I have to do it myself: I'll go to the club alone, get drunk, and do dirty dancing on the table. While I was doing my makeup and getting dressed, the other girls showed up... and there were balloons, songs, fruit, cookies, gifts... and a group to go to the club with! So my mood started to lift and the evening promised to be quite fun. We weren't let into the club... because of the kids who aren't 21 yet, and they are very strict about that here... We called Maga so he could at least brighten up our female "didn't get into the club" group. Maga pulled up, it got a bit more fun (that's what a man means... the girls started smiling, everyone started laughing, and in general, everyone had a good time)... we drove around in the car on the night roads with loud music... walked around and headed home. Yeah... it's not exactly what I wanted... but how often does everything turn out the way we plan?))
