Today in the morning I went to a tennis court near the hostel. Some Russian-Americans there gave me newspapers with ads and a job directory. That Russian woman, Albina, took me to her place – she fed me, bought me food, and gave me job newspapers. It was very kind of her. She lives in a beautiful apartment and drives a car.
Ilyukha left for the hospital in the morning – something bit his leg, and it swelled up like an elephant's. In the evening, he said that the hospital services cost over a thousand dollars, but he told them he didn't have any money – they help everyone here, even if you're broke, they won't let you die. Today I was calling numbers from the newspapers – everywhere they either don't need workers anymore or they require construction experience.
