I have so much to write, but first I want to make a small introduction. I understand that blogs on this site are created to talk about travels, adventures, and so on. But I want to ask you: will you be able to understand my posts without knowing some aspects of my life, my lifestyle, and my thoughts? I suppose not. A blog is something like a personal diary, personal reflections. A blog is a record intended for the public. So I want to welcome all readers, if there are any: welcome to my world, adventurers!
I'm in a damn good mood today! Can you guess why? Yes, of course you can! Knock-knock, I received a letter with the date of my interview at the embassy. April 9th. A whole month left until the long-awaited meeting with the consuls. To be honest, I'm not worried at all. Yes, maybe I'm a bit eccentric, even strange! After all, are there any other people who don't worry at all before the scary uncle (or aunt) consul!)))))
In my 19 and a half years, I've worried so much that sometimes I think of my nerves as steel rods. I worried about every grade in school, I worried about my words, my actions, I worried about my future, I even worried about my parents, trying not to upset them in vain! I was constantly worrying.
And what do you think? By the time I got to university, the worries evaporated. The first stage of my "hamster-like calmness" was entering university. I handled all the paperwork myself, no one accompanied me to the centralized testing, and I walked in with a smile. I watched with surprise as other applicants in the auditorium had shaking hands, dropping things, and panicking!
Since I do everything differently, I also had to take an oral exam for admission: an essay with a public presentation! I volunteered to go second just because I was bored sitting there!)))
First exam session. I overslept for my first credit test and was fifteen minutes late.
Before my first exam, at 4 AM, I was reading a book on my phone under the covers instead of getting some sleep.
I'm not afraid of professors at all anymore; why be afraid of them? They are just people, after all. Sometimes I get the impression that some professors are afraid of the students themselves.
And now, instead of reading forums, preparing my English, or memorizing interview questions, I am calmly continuing to study my subjects at the university to finish my session early.
When I told my friend that I wanted to take my exams early, she almost crossed herself: what a nightmare it is to take exams alone, one-on-one with a professor. But why? It's even more interesting that way; I'll gladly chat with the professors. Maybe I'll even manage to have a discussion. I love that; at least something actually corresponds to my major. After all, I'm not much of a journalist, but writing blogs is just right. Although... Who knows how fate will turn out!)
Forums. You know, when I had nothing to do, I greedily read forums and clicked on links. But as I realized later, the SAME question was asked in the same thread about... twenty times! No, I must be in despair or absolutely idle to go back there. Although, as they say, never say never.
By the way, this session will be VERY difficult. Russian literature alone is worth something. And Belarusian literature is just murder. Well, it's okay, I believe everything will be fine. #adventure #studentlife
