Pleasant moments))) I need help
Once, when I was biking home late from work, a police officer stopped me. The first thing I thought was, "Damn, I ran a red light!" But no, he said there have been many accidents on the road lately and cyclists are getting killed((( He told me I absolutely had to buy a helmet and gave me a map of Chicago bike lanes and a light that blinks at night so drivers can see you))) It was nice to see that people are cared for there! A few intersections later, another police officer stopped me again))))
Morning.
I'm late for work, no time to bike... I got to the bus stop, waited for the bus, and started loading my bike onto the special rack on the front of the bus, but I had never done that before!!! I struggled with it for about 5 minutes and couldn't get it to work. Then the driver got out. "Well, that's it," I thought, "now he's going to start yelling at me." But he walked up with a smile and said, "Hey, how's it going? Let me help you!" ))))
Morning.
I'm in my car. And guess what happened... I got lost. As luck would have it, my phone battery died and I couldn't make a call. I had one dollar in my pocket and a blinking fuel light... fuck!!!!... I stopped at an intersection and just started asking drivers in the cars next to me how to get to the intersection of Irving Park and Cumberland! A guy in a pickup truck told me to follow him. He escorted me to the intersection I needed))))) and let me make a call since I had to meet someone))
P.S. Finally bought a bass = it costs almost $2000 (photo attached), I'm happy.
Yesterday I thought about how hard it would have been for me to save up for it in Russia and where I would even buy it there!
