Returning to the Windy City, we headed to the bus station to get to Los Angeles. Our friend's brother helped and supported us so much during our time in America, and we are sincerely grateful to him and our friend for that.
Arriving in Sin City, we initially wanted to take the subway to the beach to warm up after the Windy City. Almost reaching our destination, a man joined our group who was dressed and painted like a clown. It would have been fine, but he started telling us all sorts of scary stories about things happening in the area we were heading to... it was an unexpectedly frightening sight, and we quickly got off at the nearest station. Meanwhile, our friends gave us an ultimatum: they had already spent the whole summer at the beach, so they didn't want to waste their precious time on it in the Hollywood city itself, so we went to the city center by bus instead.
At a stop near a Christian school, we noticed everyone, including the driver, tensing up as if preparing for something... That something, or rather someone, turned out to be schoolchildren... And here is the thing: firstly, there were a lot of kids; secondly, some particularly crafty ones get inside without paying the fare; thirdly, well, they are just kids - give it a rest - what kind of peace and quiet can you expect))))) but for us as visiting travelers, it was interesting and funny to watch them. Then, you won't believe it, there were 6 Russian-speaking passengers on the same bus, which my friends and I were really happy about... After finding out how and where to go and thanking them all, we headed to the Walk of Fame... After first stopping by a Russian cafeteria. A kind waitress suggested the shortest way to all the interesting places.
And now we are on our way... Oh, how beautiful this city is, and the Walk of Fame... Where else will you see people ready to sit on the asphalt every meter))) and we took a lot of photos in the same position))) and saw the Madame Tussauds Museum nearby.
Seeing the wax figures of all the famous people up close, we had a great time at Madame Tussauds; definitely buy the photos from there and the keychains). Then followed another grand shopping spree) no one can resist that here. Reaching the hotel, we collapsed into bed exhausted)))).
The next day we went on an excursion to Universal Studios... A place where you enter the world of the most famous movies and cartoons... A space on earth where both children and adults are incredibly happy, almost a promised land... There was so much delight...
We spent almost the whole day at the Studio, and then went to the Hollywood Hills...
A whole column of cars stops there – and after taking pictures and getting a sea of pleasure, we went further to look at the country houses of celebrities...
Mmm, the gates alone are worth it)) although in some places the country houses themselves were visible. We also looked at Sin City from a bird's-eye view... A gorgeous view... all-consuming... Returning home, we discussed one of the cities in America for a long time, famous not only for the Hollywood Hills))).
Further on, our friends headed to Washington, and we headed to Las Vegas.
