What a beautiful morning. The sun is smiling sweetly at our hastily washed faces, the breeze is waving palm fronds at us and carelessly touching our 36-hour-old hair, the sky is so blue, and the birds are singing heavenly songs. A fairy tale! Guys, let's go jump, frolic, and while we're at it, find a job (there's plenty here! it's a resort town!) and housing! Let's conquer this little town!

Fortunately, America is more technologically advanced (though in what way is it less?) than Russia, and free wi-fi can be found in almost any part of this multinational country. So don't worry about the internet and under no circumstances pay for it. =) We successfully borrowed the internet for three months completely unpunished. =) In our favorite American restaurant, McDonalds, the connection is about 30-35 KB/s, so you can only check your email there, but we have encountered places where the internet was 800 KB/s! =) So, the main thing is to have a laptop and, if you are in Miami, shade! =)
Let's return to the conquest. About two hours have passed since the heavenly enjoyment of the warmth and the birds. We started wondering what rotisserie chickens feel like. For several hours we just moved towards the ocean, not knowing exactly where it was. The feeling of the brain gradually heating up and the skin scorching is accompanied by an unceasing thirst.
We went into several places about work, but alas... The conquest is starting to crack.
12 noon. That's it. The end of our smiley faces has arrived. The temperature reached a point where walking under the sun for a long time is simply dangerous to your health. Especially dangerous for our virgin white bodies, not smeared with sunscreen, and for our naive heads, not covered by hats.

The bus is almost the only public transport in Miami. The cost of one trip is $2. I advise you to pay attention to the Monorail train, which runs around Downtown Miami for free. I also advise you to pay attention to the employees of this monorail (they are in white shirts, with walkie-talkies) located at the stations. Each employee will easily tell you how to get anywhere.
Naturally, not having found either work or housing, we set off... Where does every tourist in Miami dream of going? What is the only place a tourist has heard of, what is the only place depicted on postcards??? Well, of course! Naturally, it's Miami Beach! =)
The Miami ocean accepted us with open arms. The blue good-natured fellow gladly dirtied us with salt and sand, and we gladly rubbed our eyes and swallowed its water. =) What job and what housing?!?! No need! The ocean! That's all you need! You can't even dream of anything else! But, as you know, while swimming, we lose a large amount of energy, so beautiful thoughts were replaced by a natural desire - we wanted to eat. What ocean, when you're hungry. =( #tip#6
Most beaches in Miami are available for public use, so feel free to swim anywhere. The only thing you have to pay for is sun loungers, beds (I don't know the cost, because I've never used them). If you really want to lie down, but have nothing to pay with, you can try to lie down... There are a lot of people, so they might just not notice you. =)
We headed to the place where there is the highest concentration of Russian-speaking population, i.e., Sunny Isles. We found out that a Russian-language newspaper with ads and even a bulletin board is in a little shop called "Kalinka" (well, just Kalinka for all foreigners - a symbol of all of Russia! and you, Russians, do you know what a kalinka is and what it looks like?=))))
The search yielded no results. A slight feeling of anxiety (and for some, panic that their hair would be dirty for an unknown amount of time) urged us on and forced us to even go into nursing homes!
We just started running after Russian speakers, and luck smiled upon us (the grains turned out to be not as few as it seemed at first glance). We were taken to a motel for $40/night per person and promised to help with housing and work. We were assured that they would not leave us in trouble. But don't rely entirely on anyone's words. Always have another option, another plan of action in reserve. Always, so that circumstances don't force you to despair and panic.
We swam in the pool and treated ourselves to pizza. The night passed peacefully until 12 noon the next day.
