Actually, I'm not superstitious, but sometimes I'm amazed by certain coincidences, certain oddities.
Let's start with the fact that I stumbled upon the site completely BY ACCIDENT (though like hundreds of other participants). I broke up with my boyfriend (who didn't like my friend, and as soon as we broke up, my relationship with my friend also soured) – this inspired DETERMINATION in me. Dad AGREED to let his daughter, whom he's afraid to let go to discos, go to a country ACROSS THE OCEAN, where people speak a FOREIGN language. And Dad even gave me the MONEY. The coincidences and accidents don't end there. When I decided to take my exams early at the institute, my advisor said that it was strictly possible to do so with a medical certificate. And I decided to go and ask a doctor I knew to make a certificate that treatment was RECOMMENDED for me, NOT MANDATORY, but recommended. And I decided to put this matter off until I got my visa. And quite by accident, an acquaintance of mine tells me that this very doctor was taken out of his office in handcuffs. What for? For a FAKE certificate. Wow! So I decided that this was probably a sign. I need to come up with another reason for the early exam session, for example, I need to look after my sick grandmother because none of my relatives can. Especially since my grades are pretty good. The next coincidence, or I don't know how to explain it. I come to my English class, and my advisor tells everyone that our classes this semester will end at the end of April. Consequently, the tests will start at the end of April. And the head of the journalism department, a kind man, announced that, MOST LIKELY, the summer session will be moved to May. This means it will be much easier for me to move at least a couple of exams than the whole session. Continuing. On the day I HAD ALREADY signed the contract to participate in the program, the person who caused all this came to me and wanted to get back together. BUT, I HAD ALREADY signed the contract. If he had come a day earlier, maybe I wouldn't be writing this here now.
