Tomorrow will become yesterday today.
I decided to start a new life. Once and for all. The only question was: when?
The answer was clear: tomorrow.
However, waking up the next day, I discovered that it was the same today as it was yesterday. And since I decided to start a new life tomorrow, I couldn't possibly start it today.
- All is not lost, - I thought. - After all, tomorrow will surely be tomorrow.
And I calmly lived the day as before. Not only without any pangs of conscience, but full of bright thoughts and rainbow hopes. But what can you do: the next day it was today again – exactly the same as yesterday and the day before. - It's not my fault that some devil keeps replacing tomorrow with today. My decision was final and irrevocable. And I decided to try one more time – maybe the devil will get tired, and tomorrow will finally arrive?
Alas, it didn't happen. Every day is just today and today. In the end, I lost hope. - There will probably never be a tomorrow, - I decided.
- So maybe, since that's the case, I should just go ahead and start this new life not tomorrow, but today?
However, I immediately realized that this was complete nonsense. After all, if the same today has been repeating for so long and so invariably, then this today is already very old, which means any life started today will surely be very old. And a new one can only be started from scratch, that is – from tomorrow, if you really want it to be truly new.
And she went to sleep with the firm conviction that tomorrow she would definitely start a new life. After all, no matter how you look at it, there must be at least some kind of tomorrow.
