Oh my... how much time I've spent on all sorts of forums, blogs, etc.
So, I decided to post all the useful links here. (Something like a favorites list=)

If you have unlimited internet, I would advise using the Google Earth program. First of all, what I liked about it is that you can clearly see cities, zoom in conveniently, and see the infrastructure (cafes, hotels) without having to search for websites. For example, you see a hotel icon, click on it, and a small window pops up immediately showing if the hotel has a website. If it does, just click on the site=> the browser opens with the site.
Having tried different methods, this one turned out to be the most convenient.
Also about work. I opened 2 notepad files in advance. In the first file, I had my full resume and CV, which I sent by email, and in the second, a very short one (in case the company doesn't have an email address and you can leave a message directly on the site). Very convenient.
Some find it convenient to search via http://www.superpages.com
If I remember anything else, I will add it. (After all, I am still at the very beginning of the journey, I still have to buy tickets, look for maps, and also find roommates)
