I took an evening bus from SF to LA, and I was freezing almost the entire night on the Greyhound... arriving at the station (downtown LA), I was a bit surprised by the state of the city and the fact that I had no idea how to get to my hostel (I booked a hostel recommended by a girl, but I later regretted staying there because it wasn't in LA itself, but in Inglewood, and it took about 2 hours to get from there to Hollywood... )... The hostel's website said to get to the airport and then take a shuttle from there to the hostel... I barely made it to the airport: first on one bus, then another... And at the airport, I waited for another 2 hours because they just couldn't send a shuttle for me... I was so angry... I was so cold standing by that road waiting for the shuttle(( After arriving, I quickly tried to get ready and go to Hollywood... but it didn't happen quickly, obviously, because I had to take 2 buses... and I could have taken one of them directly from the station to the hostel (but I was slow and did what their website said)... After a 2-hour trip, I walked around the Walk of Fame a bit... I met a guy from Ireland, and he was selling tickets for a bus tour... this was the first time I consciously wanted to park my butt in a car and just watch what they show you... but then I didn't regret it at all, I took a ride, saw the celebrities' houses (or rather, their fences), Beverly Hills... in general, everything went fine, then I returned to the hostel... also with great difficulty, because the buses run very rarely... The next day I got ready again and decided to go to the amusement park (Universal Studios), I decided to go by train (subway), this type of transport was more to my liking... I got there calmly and walked a bit to the park... I stood in line for tickets, but the day in the park went wonderfully, I liked everything. Not counting the fact that I had a lot of things and decided to put them in a locker, well, I was used to the system that was in the hostel in NY, first you put your things in, and then you pay through a machine... well, I found an open locker and put my things in, but I couldn't pay... It turned out that the park has a completely different system, first you have to pay, and then the locker opens and you put your things in, well, only something like that could happen to me, that I somehow managed to find an open locker... in the end, I had to run to the consultants, they took me to information, I started telling them what and how... they asked me what kind of things, what color... in the end, they opened the locker and showed me how to pay... oh, I was so scared there... But the rides and the park itself are very cool! On the way back, I wanted to stop by Hollywood again to take a picture with Johnny Depp's signature... I was walking along the sidewalk, reading the names of the stars, and then boom, I crashed into a gate near which a security guard was standing... I went around the road... and I see (from the other side of the road) that they fenced off the street because it was a premiere) so I decided to wait, maybe I'd see some stars, the distance turned out to be relatively far, but I still saw them)) Pamela Anderson... damn, she's all artificial... And I didn't want to stand any longer because I was tired... and went to the hostel... The next day I decided to go to Long Beach, again by train... it's a very beautiful area... I liked it very much... even though it was cool, I still went swimming... After the sea, I went to Hollywood again to complete my mission and finally take a picture with Johnny Depp's signature... And I did it, I was very happy)) Then I returned to the hostel, decided that I couldn't stay in LA anymore, it's cold and harsh, and decided that I would go to San Diego... I found a place to stay... And the next day I got to the Greyhound station and bought a ticket for the next bus to SD... and left... This was probably the most pleasant bus trip... only 4 hours, even with stops, but there is such beauty there: the road to Disney, Ocean City... very beautiful and sunny... Leaving the bus station in SD, I realized that it's very good there...
