Three days of an amazing vacation in New York have come to an end, and my friend and I headed to JFK to catch a flight to Denver, Colorado!!!
There, in the heart of America, our employer is waiting for us - I hope they meet us at the airport, otherwise we're in trouble....
When we boarded the plane, my nerves started acting up; all the people were strange - like out of a horror movie - "Are they all like this in Denver???" They seemed so stressed and old...
We had a layover in Cincinnati, and the big cities outside the window started to be replaced by fields and forests - "Can there really be a city in this wilderness???"
We arrive in Denver, and we're in shock - we're waiting for our bags at the airport...
It's just that Denver is so different compared to New York that at first, you're overcome with horror - what kind of village have we arrived in..
We're waiting for our luggage, and some woman walks up to us and hugs us - Oh my God, what friendly people)) haha
Later it turned out that it was our employer)) She drove to pick us up since the airport is a 30-minute drive from the city))
And she brought her two sons with her (she actually has three children - a daughter too).
So, she introduces us to the kids - "These are my sons, Louis and Charlie."
I almost fell off my chair, even though there wasn't a chair nearby.. - The thing is, I have two male cats and one female cat at home, and the male cats are named Louis and Charlie)))
And the employer continues, "At home, I'll introduce you to Lizzy - my daughter." That's it, I'm done - my third cat's name)) hahaha
Well, what a coincidence - at least I remembered all the names quickly)))
