In conclusion, I would like to share a few tips:
- Be sure to bring sportswear, sneakers, flat sandals, a towel, a toothbrush, and a comb))
- If you want to bring a credit card from home, make sure it's from Kazkommertsbank or HSBC—they actually work; the others are useless.
- If you happen to lose your money, it can be sent to you via Contact or Western Union)
- Plan in advance where you are going, how you will get there, and who might meet you there.
- Don't just plan, but also book all your tickets and hotel/motel rooms in advance.
- It's better not to talk about your earnings or purchases while traveling.
- If you get a credit card in America, ALWAYS CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT EVERY EVENING!!! If you exceed your available balance, the money will continue to go into the negative! Plus, you will pay a penalty for every purchase made while in the negative ;(
- Definitely go traveling—you'll relax after the summer and get a ton of pleasure and life lessons.
- Rely only on yourself and don't get discouraged; as they say, "Will this problem matter in 5 years?"
- Call your parents more often, chat with them on Skype, and keep your family and loved ones updated—this advice isn't just for the sake of it...
Thanks for your attention.
Good luck to everyone and may all your cherished dreams come true ;)
