It's been a while since I last wrote! Forgive me. I feel embarrassed to write) because I still haven't found a job. I keep walking around, leaving my resume, but it's all for nothing! What is going on... well, never mind, I can't lose hope)
Now, a few curious facts about my life here and Africa in general.
First of all, I moved to a new hostel. The previous one was called "Big Blue Backpack," if you translate it) The new one is called "Two Oceans." Everything here is in shades of blue and light blue. It's so feminine to choose housing based on color, right?) But no. It's about the price! It's cheaper here, that's all.
Now I can compare the two hostels. There were more students there, here everyone seems to be adults..
In the new hostel, there are COCKROACHES. Not as big as the ones at Ilyukha's work (he told me that some elephants walk under the tables there), but still, cockroaches!
Yesterday, besides me and the cockroaches, there were only three men living in the hostel... a bit scary, isn't it?) But today a nice Polish girl moved in, and now there are two of us - representatives of the fair sex!/
I'm sitting here now, writing all this, and something terrible is happening outside! Everyone is shouting, singing, greeting each other! All my neighbors ran out to the balcony. So I went too) It turned out that a giant annual bike ride is taking place in Cape Town)
By the way, I now live on the main street. It's better not to go out at night or in the evening, but otherwise - it's cool) All life is right under my windows! Although someone is always yelling at night, but oh well.
Important note! I went to McDonald's (I couldn't miss it and not compare it to ours) and I can say for sure that the African McDonald's is completely useless! And you know why? Because there is no cheese sauce here! Everything is clear now, isn't it?
