So, everyone is creating blogs and talking about their adventures in America, and I haven't even left yet, but I'm already writing )))
Probably emotions, hope, faith... all of this prompted me to share my feelings and thoughts. Plus, it's -20 outside :)) Only tea, radiators, and my dream keep me warm !!!
Damn, when thoughts about the embassy and the J-1 Visa appear, I start to worry :)
But I sincerely believe and convince myself and them that everything will be very good !!!
And now let's start from the beginning:
The thought of a trip to America has been in my head for a long time, but I've been planning to go for 2 years. The first year it wasn't even serious, but last year I was really determined to go, talked to my parents... and then - this damn crisis, everyone started to talk me out of it, and I believed them, although in vain, I should have stood my ground! When friends came back and told me how they spent the summer and how much they earned, I looked at the photos and regretted twice as much that I followed the advice of those who talked me out of it.
From all this, I concluded that next summer I will definitely go to conquer my dream ^_^
And now - the first steps have already been taken, we registered, paid the first installment, and they already sent the DS-2019 (which shocked us, because we planned that it would be in January or February, according to the agency), now the biggest thing remains :))))) - pay the remaining amount within 14 days, pass the interview, get the J-1 Visa, and find job offers!
Yes, by the way, why am I writing in the plural and using WE... I'm going with my boyfriend, my close friend, and her boyfriend, yes! yes! yes!
We are all going for the first time, so we don't really know anything :)
A bunch of questions, a bunch of plans... and the difficulty is that we all want to end up in the same place. We really want to! And the agency said they couldn't promise that, so now we are looking for job offers ourselves.
Well, that's basically the beginning of our journey...
