Advice for those planning to go on the Work and Travel USA program for the first time next summer: learn the language. Definitely, intensely, and persistently. You don't have much time left to get your language skills to a decent level. Why is it needed here? Because with excellent English, you can find a job where you'll interact with customers, sell goods, or do something similar. What's the benefit of such a job? Tips! In a day, at a job with an average migrant wage, you can earn as much in tips as you wouldn't be able to earn with a regular salary.
