Yulia and Masha are shameless liars, of course.

Last spring, they were so fired up about starting a full-fledged blog about the trip... and that was it, not a single word since.

They did go, of course. And they had such a trip that we still miss it. They had such a trip that they returned with a sense of a flipped reality. They had such a trip that now we're just running around agencies, looking for any opportunity to leave again, kicking ourselves for not discovering Work and Travel a couple of years earlier.

I remember how desperately I scoured blogs last year looking for stories, tips, and hints. I guess we still owe this blog one more post—with advice for those leaving. Absolutely subjective, of course, but back then I was grabbing at anything like that, and often I lacked positivity and optimism in such posts.

Well, in short—everything worked out for us without a single downside; it was all so sweet and candy-coated that it shouldn't even be possible. And the only downside is that 4.5 months flew by like a single breath.

And for now—for those interested—a wonderful musical video (so watch with sound) about our adventures. In the frame: a bit of Moscow, New York, Ocean City MD, Philadelphia, Atlantic City, Niagara, Washington, Orlando, and New York again.

Good luck to everyone with your visas. Work and Travel will be a magical adventure, believe me.

Who are we? We are the eternal students of the Moscow State Law Academy; We are hard-working ponies who, for some reason, give 100% at jobs we don't exactly love; We are fans of moderately active leisure; We are the bold yet merciful creators of the term "neboloto" (not-a-swamp), which signifies that some people don't want to take out a mortgage and live the way they are supposed to. Back in Jane Austen's time, we probably would have been burned at the stake for such free-thinking)
