So, about that piggy bank... to put money in it, you have to earn it first, and that's where the catch is... I have evening classes at the institute, so working is impossible... but my desire is stronger... (Oh, and if you remembered the agency where I used to work, I quit back in August... it was so painful to leave... the guys became my second family... all those hangouts and tea together=)).. however, because of the job, my relationship with my father deteriorated... so I had to choose... plus, studies were coming up... I just physically wouldn't have had time to work because the realtor profession requires a looot of free time... in the summer, I worked from dawn till dusk... and summer sunsets are late...=)... let's not talk about that..
I wanted to work, but I understood it was unrealistic... but I wanted to! And that's what matters... An acquaintance of mine got a job at McDonald's at that time, and as usual, you have to start as a cleaner... that didn't suit me... like, how could I?? I'd be mopping the floor, and then my friends would walk in for burgers!!!))))... noooo... I couldn't imagine that at all!!!...
A week later, I got a job as a cleaner...))...
Curtain...)))))
In my dorm.
By the way, yes, I live in a dorm! It's expensive, the brat, but it comes out a bit cheaper than renting a room).. And as they say, a penny saved is a penny earned!)))
I got a job as a cleaner on the 2nd floor. (our dorm is on the 4th).. 6 offices, half a hallway, and the men's restroom...
If someone had told me before that I'd be working as a cleaner, I would have laughed in their face!)))))
When I told my friends where and what I worked as, they laughed, saying "stop joking around, a cleaner! You had to come up with that!" ))).. then they started to believe me)))
So, part-time with a salary of 200,000 (that's about $70 for those who aren't familiar with Belarusian money). I started working in the evenings or mornings, however it worked out. I agree, 70 is way too little... even the word 'too' doesn't quite define it...
So, from my first paycheck, exactly a generous half went into the piggy bank... yes, yes.. into the "for America" piggy bank "))))
Every morning, getting up at 5 AM, I said "that's it! Today is the last time I clean!!!..." I still say that to this day))).. I just comfort myself by thinking I'm like Cinderella))).. One day there will be a "ball" (visa), a "prince" (plane), and a "fairy godmother" (Mother America) ))))...
At this rate, it will take a long time to save up... but I'm trying...
