To start off, last night a lovely 26-year-old Italian girl named Federica moved in with us. She turned out to be a great roommate and even guessed the password for the free Wi-Fi for us. Later at night, a very loud Russian girl named Ksyusha came in, left her suitcase, and ran off to see her friends (the suitcase was gone by morning). Federica took the folding cot, which did us a huge favor—we didn't have to share our super vip beds with anyone.
We woke up earlier than we wanted to in the morning and ran to get some yogurt and juice. While eating, we did our makeup and then headed to the Golden Ballroom for an orientation from our dear sponsor.
Note: In the States, A4 paper is wider and shorter!
At the orientation, they handed out funny sheets on how to get to our employers. Of course, everyone had travel companions listed, but I was alone. Anyway, that's about it; then we took the subway to 123 William St. to get our Social Security number.
I kept a blog on VK (https://vk.com/wielec_usa). More info there.
