Well then... I've finally arrived in San Fran... I needed to find the bus stop for the street where I'll be living... That turned out to be a bit difficult... I ran around my terminal about 4 times looking for it... but it was all in vain... I decided to ask for help at the Information desk... I walked up and asked, "How can I get to Broadway str?" They unfolded a map and started showing me where I needed to go, where I was currently, where I should catch an airport taxi, and how much it would cost... (I love Americans because they are always ready to help you and would almost walk you all the way home).
I found the taxi stand, got in, and drove off, admiring the streets of San Francisco out the window... I liked this city from the very first glance... With its hilly roads... The people... The graffiti... The shops...
I arrived at the place where I was supposed to be met... I went into the courtyard, sat on a bench, and realized that everyone around was Russian... grandfathers and grandmothers...
After an hour and a half, the woman we were supposed to stay with arrived... Hooray... tears started flowing on their own because I realized I was back in the country I had dreamed of returning to for a whole year... Hooray!
I got a phone card... Made calls to Russia and sat down at the computer...
Then we drove to see an acquaintance to ask about work...
But alas...
In the evening, I went to bed, overflowing with feelings and emotions...
A new chapter has begun... I have to live here for 5 months... how will everything go... what awaits me... Mmm...
