*** New York, you know, it's such a mix. Why do social media posts tell us that America is freedom, that everyone will find their place in America, and everyone will be happy? Because it's true) It is one of the countries where SUCH a number of people from all over the world live. They live there because they found themselves. It has everything: cozy Europe, soulful Asia, and the fun Latin American part, and it's super cool! You walk down the street and hear several languages at the same time ***
A super-charming cowboy (I admit, he's in his underwear, but that doesn't diminish his charm) plays cheerful songs, sings enthusiastically, and smiles. I recently found out that he ran for president. Nothing will change or spoil this country..))
I immediately turned into a multifunctional organizer after the "torture," and with every step I improved, you know, new functions were added. You need to keep an eye on the suitcases, read and understand English signs and directions, ask airport staff "where to, where, we need the subway" ...it's a pity that there is no built-in navigation in me ...but okay, and of course, it was necessary to share impressions with my frogs)))
We spent our first night in Brooklyn. It was like I was in the famous game - GTA, you'll see everything for yourselves, guys))) We rode as "stowaways" on transport, packed to the brim with dark people. Why "stowaways"?)) We just couldn't figure out where to buy tickets until a kind police officer took all five of us by the hands, like naughty kids, to a stand on the street, standing at every stop with the sign "Pay here." And then there was a fairy tale that for a long time opened up to us only from TV screens. We walked all day through the very "heart" of New York. Oh, those huge skyscrapers, and everything is so bright, and it was so warm, both physically and in the soul. People around you are different, painted, naked, half-naked, literally ...this is America, guys, people express themselves, and no one judges anyone, and this is freedom) You ride the subway, and no one looks at you with an evaluating gaze, no one at all.
Brooklyn... a dude is just standing there swaying, either with dumbbells in his hands or a tape recorder with rap.. everything is clear, nothing extra!)))
*** Be careful in big cities. You will be invited to events of various kinds, ranging from Broadway shows to religious and sectarian communities (I ain’t got time – a useful phrase in such cases). I say this because one of my frogs decided to take a picture with a live fake Statue of Liberty for a thank you, but for the statue, this THANK YOU - ... well, you understand. In general, a spectacle... a big black Statue of Liberty is chasing my Azerbaijani friend all over Times Square, naming the amount of dollars she needs to pay (but my Azerbaijani friend was not going to pay at all)... in such a case, I taught everyone to say the phrase "I do not understand you" with a wild accent and wild eyes... well, in general, in sign language, we agreed that we would delete the photo. Such a principled statue xD ***
