The night is darkest before the dawn.

I am far from being a panic-prone person, but even I felt like everything would end before it even began. I suppose this is familiar to every participant of the Work and Travel USA program. The feeling of being lost, the culture shock, the lack of money, and a dead tablet battery weren't as scary as the uncertainty. The uncertainty of where to go, when and what to do, how exactly to pay for housing, where to get food, and what awaited me tomorrow.

Everything passes, and this passed too. It passed very quickly)

My SSN was issued, a bank account was opened, the first paycheck was received, and a second job was found. Everything worked out.

Advice: Please, no matter what happens, do not despair. You are not the first, and you won't be the last. It will get better, you will see for yourself.
