The interview went like clockwork! Ten to twelve typical questions, the answers to which I had memorized in advance, a request to list my rights from the pamphlet, and voilà – a nice gentleman congratulated me on getting my visa) It felt like he didn't even think about denying me the visa!
Note for the girls: just in case, I didn't wear makeup and dressed modestly, so that my whole appearance would sort of say to the consul: "No, no, such a plain girl in America will only work! What boyfriends?! What migration through marriage?! I beg you!"
Judging by the smiles of the students leaving the windows with the consuls, visas were being given to absolutely everyone!
They all had their signed DS-2019 forms in their hands, not hiding their sincere joy, just flying on wings towards beautiful America! And I also sat there and was happy for every such "smiler" while I waited for my turn)
Only my acquaintance didn't get a visa, but solely because of poor English and lack of preparation for the interview! The day before the trip to the embassy, he asked me: "Do you have a list of interview questions?". I have one, but what were YOU THINKING BEFORE – I wanted to ask him! And as he later recounted, he didn't even understand half of the questions by ear!
However, I know of a case where a girl, on the contrary, demonstrated her fluent English, joked with the consul, sprinkled American idioms, and in the end, she wasn't given a visa!
The conclusion is: don't show off and stick to the golden mean!!!
THIS IS THAT VERY SAMPLE LIST OF QUESTIONS FOR THE EMBASSY INTERVIEW: http://workandtravel-cicep.com.ua/?page_id=8
AND THIS IS THE PAMPHLET – a document about your rights that you acquire on the territory of the USA. Everything written on the very first page after the words "You have the right to" must be memorized! Consuls almost always ask to list the rights from the Pamphlet.

Prepare in advance, think through your answers! Especially to the question of what places you want to visit - Americans love specificity in plans!
To the question of what is the purpose of your trip, do not answer – to earn money! This pushes the consul to the thought that you are one of those who will go to any lengths for cash: you will work in a strip club (if you are a girl) or get involved with crime (if you are a guy)!
Your goals: to improve your English, gain cultural exchange experience, see the best sights (specific ones), and return home to continue your studies in your Homeland))
P.S.: Most importantly, none of my friends knew about my participation in the program! Except for the one who was originally planning to go with me! For everyone, my announcement that I had a plane to the USA in a week was a huge surprise! Why didn't I tell anyone about it? I have long been convinced that the less you tell people about your plans, the more likely they are to come true! That's exactly what happened this time!
The passport with the visa arrives within 2-5 days and it looks like the one in the photo attached below)
