I was lucky with my accommodation. The school was a 20-minute drive from home, so I could afford to sleep in in the morning) On the first day of school, I was greeted by very sweet and friendly girls who seemed to speak every language imaginable. I was immediately asked to take a short 20-minute test. Based on the results of this test and an interview with a native speaker, all students are placed into different groups according to their English proficiency (from beginner to advanced). All the teachers I met at the school were very interesting, fun, and smart people. Our Matthew always came up with interesting contests so we wouldn't get bored. Every weekday we had two 90-minute lessons. There were 8 people in our class, but only three of us attended regularly: the charismatic Italian Andrea, the sweet Japanese girl Misa, and me)
