Rain in England is an ocean suspended in the air... You slowly drown in it...
And I drowned in England itself... And when it was time to go home, I just couldn't process it. :)
I was flying home from Manchester. Early in the morning, after packing my things and heading to the station, I couldn't imagine what awaited me next.
Arriving at the station, I found out that my train to Manchester had been cancelled. "Well... not a big deal," I thought, and started waiting for the next one. Then things got more interesting.
Arriving at Manchester airport, I found out that my flight was also cancelled! And the next available flight was only the following day.
It wasn't meant for me to return to Belarus. :)
That's how fate gifted me one more day in England. And originally, Manchester wasn't even in my plans.
Arriving at the hotel provided by the airline and dropping my things in the room, I went for a walk around Manchester. A lovely city. Unlike any I've seen before. Although the City Hall reminded me of Big Ben... Probably because of the clock :)
The next day the plane took off on schedule, and I returned home.
But England... England will always be in my heart!
