Hi everyone, RozaTrust here!
(For reference, you can check out my YouTube channel about traveling in America: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUlCHm_Xj_VVXYXIn2c3rsw)
I suggest you get comfortable and grab a cup of hot tea. This is going to be a long story, but believe me, it's worth it. I'm going to tell you about an incredible story that lasted a whole summer and left a bright mark on my life.
It all started quite standardly. An ordinary student from Moscow wanted to go far across the ocean: to see something new, learn more about the culture and mentality of another country, and open up broader horizons for herself. But, unfortunately, everything stopped at just "wanting." Aspects like studies, work, and entertainment kept pulling me away from my desire to make my summer truly unforgettable.
After all, to go to America, you need to collect a multitude of documents, apply for a visa, and deal with a bunch of other formalities. That's exactly how I imagined it, and so, to avoid torturing myself, I put everything on the back burner until the very moment I found out that my acquaintance Ksyusha had already quite consciously decided to conquer America for the second time! When I found out about this, I couldn't leave it unattended. I met with her, found out all the details about her first trip, and honestly, after all those stories, I was ready to fly to America right then and there. I listened to Ksyusha with my mouth agape. How? How could one feel confident across the ocean, far from everything familiar, everything close to the heart, without family, loved ones, and friends? For me, this was undoubtedly something unusual and wildly exciting! But what amazed me most was her eagerness to repeat the experience.
Seeing that fire in her eyes, I couldn't delay. We went to the International Exchange Center. That's how our story of travel, friendship, and a summer full of endless emotions began. Virginia Beach was already waiting for us.
On my YouTube channel, you can watch the most detailed and incredibly exciting adventures of two students from Russia in America, me and Ksyusha! Enjoy watching :)
