Often we live without thinking about how to work and how to spend earned money properly, but only until we become adults ourselves. Arriving in America, completely alone, I gained huge experience because searching for things on my own day after day is not easy, but very interesting. On the very first day, I decided to walk to the hotel where my Job offer was, and I had no idea where to go or how long it would take. Of course, I got sunburned, but after 40 minutes I was there. At that time, it seemed unreal to remember everything located in the hotel. I got lost and tried to get used to everything.
Training days went by with a Polish girl; I could hardly imagine that I would ever learn to do everything as quickly as needed or that I would be able to use a vacuum cleaner in America, which is three times larger than our usual one.
Time passed; the first weeks I would come home and didn't even have the strength to sit. I can't say that housekeeping is hard. It is rather exhausting and takes all your energy. But for me, it was just a job, and by the end of the summer, I even got used to it. Even at such a job, it was interesting to meet visiting tourists from all different parts of America. Each of them had their own accent and habits. Friendly relationships were formed with the staff.
