After taking four days off, we headed to the state of Florida! You can't imagine the joy of seeing two purchased tickets on the laptop screen. And where to? Crimea? Greece? Spain? All that is great, of course, but we had tickets to Miami!
On the first day, we were very upset because there was a terrible downpour and all the shops on the ground floor were simply flooded. But the next day, thanks to the 40-degree heat, everything dried up to the last drop. So, we booked one of the best hotels located right by Miami Beach, called Ocean Drive. I highly recommend the hotel! We loved it because it offered free bike rentals, breakfasts, and a convenient location. And the beach! Snow-white, smooth sand that gently slopes into the clear, warm water of the Atlantic Ocean. We spent three hours in the water without getting out, because firstly, we didn't want to leave this miracle of nature, and secondly, the weather was so hot that it was even hard to breathe.
On the same day, we set off on bicycles to conquer downtown. It's so great to ride across the city, see all the main attractions, including the villas of the rich and famous, as well as the well-known graffiti street. In short, Miami is a must-visit.
And now about the costs. Round-trip plane tickets with a layover in Orlando cost $85 each. We spent about $300 on the hotel for two, as summer in Miami is considered off-season, so there were big discounts. All in all, each of us spent one salary. So, in the USA, Miami is not that expensive.
