Oh, America, the land of opportunity.
A country where everyone is kind
, responsive
, and cheerful.
After visiting America, I became more open, polite, and liberated. So much has happened during this time. I was planning to go to America with my friends, but only I was granted a visa. I, a girl who never walks alone and is afraid of everything, went to America
and found an acquaintance from my university who was also planning to go to the USA. We bought tickets to New York, then went our separate ways; it was very scary to be alone. On May 29th at 4 AM, I was standing in my city with suitcases in my hands, it was dark outside, and suddenly I got scared. The problem was housing. Yes, I had found it in advance in Aktobe, they gave me an address, but I got lost. But in the end, I found a place to stay. The whole of June was rainy and foggy, which put me in a bad mood. On my first day of work, I didn't understand anything, I was scared, I cried
I didn't have enough money at all, they paid very little, and I still had to pay for housing. My mom was worried, she wrote every day, and I lied to her that everything was great, that I had money, but oh my god

I started saving to pay for housing, started looking for a second job, barely ate because everything was expensive. I felt like a lost kitten
All of June I just cried and cried, I really regretted coming, I wrote to everyone, except my mom of course, to come and get me
But then, when I found a second job in the kitchen, I started to understand their language
You can't imagine, they spoke so fast that I didn't understand anything, I just walked around and smiled. But in July, thank God, I started to understand them better, I made a lot of friends, and the sun started to shine so brightly, and I started to get used to it, started to open up, socialize, and have fun with everyone
and I paid for the housing
And you know, they are very, very polite. Even when I got on the bus, I had to say thank you to the driver, have a nice day, because everyone says that, and in stores everywhere, everyone smiles, everyone helps. Every Sunday they go to the park, walk there with the whole family, and the managers are not like ours, they don't just sit there, on the contrary, they come every day, ask if I've eaten, if everything is okay. If something didn't work out, they explained it. God, I remember asking 100 times at the beginning, and they calmly explained everything to me. My advice to you: don't be afraid and go to America, your life will change 360 degrees
