I'm starting to eat everything edible, regardless of taste preferences or expiration dates. I eat mushrooms, broccoli, Druzba processed cheese, explosive mixes of nuts and chips, fiery pasta... The main thing is that it's all edible! And I don't have to spend money.
On the plane, I sat with two businessmen; it turned out they were traveling to Moscow on a business trip to invest in RusNano technologies. My vocabulary was even enough to discuss with them the prospects and shortcomings of state corporations and RusNano in particular. Then one of them asked what I planned to do, to which I replied that I was interested in marketing, market analysis... it turned out that this is exactly what he does, and he teaches in Chicago himself. I was given a business card with the words that if I ever thought about studying in the USA or doing an exchange program, I should call and write immediately. The acquaintance, of course, isn't exactly promising, but at least it's pleasant :))))
My plane was delayed in Moscow for an hour and a half, so I had a twenty-minute layover in Chicago from flight to flight... and I MADE IT :)))) unheard-of luck :))).
There were many students on the plane participating in the Work and Travel USA program, and they were all boozing... about an hour later, a meticulous flight attendant suspected something was wrong and, with a triumphant cry, confiscated a bottle of whiskey :))). The poor guys, who were promised immediate trouble at the airport, turned green with fear... but in my opinion, everything ended well for them :)).
During the 8-hour flight from Moscow to Chicago, I progressed in Sudoku more than I have in the last 19 years of my life :)) by the end of my stay, I'll probably become an expert... since I can't solve crossword puzzles, this is all that's left :)). I'm thinking of buying some magazine (I have to fly for 17 hours the day after tomorrow), but I convert its cost into rubles, and then I remember that I might not have a job... and I come to the decision that one can also sleep on the plane.
My plane just landed in New York... from the porthole, this city is WOW. I'm sitting here zoning out at the airport, waiting for Yulka. I have no idea what she looks like; it's just that in our fun group, they decided it would be a very cool idea to put two girls together who are flying on different flights to different places with a difference of several hours...
While waiting, I took a picture of the Apple... back in 7th grade, we were taught that this is the symbol of the big city of New York... =)
