Waiter/Waitress. I put this first because this job has a huge plus: almost guaranteed tips, unlike other professions. But your English must be at a high level – otherwise, they won't hire you.
-
Housekeeper. The work isn't difficult and is almost always well-paid. Clean well – get tips. It's harder than being a waiter because you deal with people's dirty things (just my opinion).
-
Host/hostess — greeting restaurant visitors at the entrance, seating them at tables. I would also put Front Desk Clerk in third place – a hotel administrator working at the reception. It's not a dusty job. Quite a lot of communication with clients – great for improving conversational English. But tips are not expected.
-
Arcade Attendant — service staff for arcade machines; selling tokens, handing out prizes, etc. Interesting work in an interesting place. And if you remember how much entrance tickets to amusement parks in the USA cost, it makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Cashier – cashier. A fairly calm, not tedious job.
-
Dishwasher, Laundry staff, Porter – not the best primary job, but an excellent second job.
As for us, we work as housekeepers and administrators at the same hotel. Regarding our first profession – it's not the cleaning of rooms that's hard, but running up and down the stairs (the hotel is small) – you keep your body in constant tone. And, speaking about the administrator role, only pleasant impressions: you talk to people a lot, you feel so important, and during your shift, you can do your own things (like how I'm writing this post right now) in the breaks between check-ins.
In general, we are satisfied with the work. (Especially receiving tips, heh). But we want even more hours, so we are looking for an additional job!
