We have to admit that the first and second months are significantly different: getting a second job, more detailed budgeting, and just the simple process of "settling in." Now we know where to buy cheaper sausage, where the lamb is, and where you get a second chicken for free if you buy one
Our expenses were purely for food and housing. We managed to get everything else for free: bicycles, waterfalls, trips to neighboring cities. So, here are the rather dry numbers.
I am writing the costs for 1 person.
Housing - $200
Food - $221
TOTAL: $421 per person
Now, regarding earnings. There will also be a split into two types: tips and salary. While in July we worked as housekeepers 5 times a week, in August, for example, it was only 2-3 times.
Tips - $47
Salary - $1370 (worked an average of 28 hours per week)
Do you think our expenses increased in the second month? Is it realistic to live in America on our salary?
