December 10

As a rule, many people take stock of their personal lives at the end of the year to highlight what they still need to work on, or to praise themselves for what they planned and achieved. I, however, do not limit myself to thoughts about personal achievements; I also try to analyze what has changed in the world and what we still have to work on. We still have things to strive for, but the way we are ending this decade is encouraging. For me, the success of the outgoing year has been people's concern for global ecology, politics, the acceptance of oneself and others, and most importantly, a thirst for peace and justice.

Starting to talk about the future, I would like to write a small preface. I am incredibly grateful to my friends for discussing the most incredible ideas regarding the future, and to my teacher of cultural analysis in advertising, who forced me to dig into various articles and my own thoughts to understand how I would like to see the world in a few decades and what it will actually be like.

First of all, I want to describe my crazy theory about the future specifically in the context of the whole world. Science and technology are developing so fast now that my assumptions could really affect us in 2039, although initially it might seem like something out of a sci-fi movie about the year 3039. Have you ever thought about the value of human experience, human knowledge and feelings, or the value of relationships? I always think about it. I always react painfully to the passing of a loved one or someone interesting to me. Take Michael Jackson, for example. A man-machine. A man-rock. Despite the recent news revealed in the HBO documentary, this is a man with such colossal experience that it is scary to imagine. Throughout his life, he learned, felt, loved, discovered, and brought something of his own to the world, and in one moment, it was all gone. The future generation will only know about him through documentaries, some preserved recordings, and photographs. Or another example beyond reality: the Mayan civilization. If I am not mistaken, scientists still cannot solve how they built their houses without any binding elements, and these structures have survived to this day. In 2039, all questions will disappear because people will become robots. You could say, like in the cartoon series 'Futurama'. Thanks to bone tissue or a DNA element, scientists will be able to create a robot that has exactly the same knowledge, feelings, and memories as the deceased person. The robot will no longer look like the emotionless machine we imagine. For example, this year French engineers developed a phone case resembling human skin that reacts to tickling and pinching. If they invented this now, imagine what a robot will be like in 2039. I am sure that science will step so far forward that we will even be able to feel the warmth of a robot when touching its skin, and hair and nails will grow on their own. The world will regain brilliant and famous people, and every person will be able to get back someone they once lost. A friend once asked me: 'Today, besides the environmental agenda, there is another global problem ─ overpopulation. Have you thought about what will happen if robots are added to the living people?'. I have! By 2039, parallel universes will appear, robots will be able to live on other planets, and no one will ever feel the problem of land shortage. What else is characteristic of the 'future human'? If you follow my theory, human knowledge will be uploaded to a robot via a specific computer. It turns out that in the computer, our brain will be sorted into folders containing our habits, fears, thoughts, knowledge, etc. What am I getting at? By creating a robot with the brain and soul of a specific person, bad qualities, anger, envy, and the urge for war and domination will be erased with the help of a computer. There will be no more wars, envy, or greed in the world. I think that then the world will become the one John Lennon once sang about in the song 'Imagine'. Everyone will live and work not for themselves alone, but for the good of our world, making it better and better each time. Another friend asked me: 'But a robot also needs maintenance, they will break down. Is there any solution to such a problem?'. In my opinion, if a robot is equipped with a brain and a soul, it will be able to feel, so there will be no problems with self-maintenance. Everyone will be able to take care of themselves calmly. I want the world to have that harmony that combines a balance of nature and science. We can be robots with you. We can revive other people with our own efforts. We can make the world better with our own efforts. But nothing will replace our nature, no electric flower, so with all our might, with all our ideas, we will preserve it. There will be no planes or cars in the world that pollute the environment, because in 20 years a teleporter will appear that will move us anywhere in a matter of seconds. By 2039, robots will be able to swim underwater calmly without worrying about their internal system burning out. There will be no more urge to hunt. We will be able to protect living species on the verge of extinction and restore those that have gone extinct. We will restore the purity of the world's ocean, restore coral reefs that are now on the verge of disappearance. For the future, this will not be a problem.

Now I want to reveal what I will be doing, what will happen to the Work and Travel USA program, and what travel will be like, since we have already talked about the world around us. I will work for the good of the world. I cannot name the exact profession I will work in, but I know for sure that I would like to try myself in almost every field, I would like to create, to help nature and people. The Work and Travel USA program will expand its capabilities. In addition to all the countries of the world, it will be possible to travel to other planets, work there as a volunteer, and create something for future life. It will be a program accessible to everyone because everyone will be able to bring something unique, kind, and good, and everyone deserves to have a unique experience. Travel will be intergalactic, without any paperwork, long-term savings, or problems. It will no longer be considered part of a luxurious life. Everyone will be able to travel everywhere.

I want to conclude my thoughts by saying that such a contest needs to be resumed in 2039 and the kids' blogs preserved to see how the world has changed 20 years later. Many friends tell me 'how could it get any better', but I have no doubt that in 20 years, the end of the 30s of the 21st century will be even more successful and even larger-scale than the end of the 10s of the 21st century. Please excuse me if there are any grammatical errors, repetitions, and possibly disjointedness in my post. I wrote it under the pressure of thoughts, emotions, and sincerely. Thank you very much for your attention!
