As we know, a story, like any other form of expression, is an emotion. It has no language, yet it is used in every language. To convey even a fraction of the emotions experienced in a single story, one must begin with a dream. A person without a dream probably does not exist. It does not matter if it is big or small, global or modest; every person simply wants it to come true. They are all different, yet unique in their own way.
A dream gives birth to the meaning of life, drives it, and provides faith and motivation for its fulfillment. From early childhood, we begin to dream. Some want a specific new toy, some dream of becoming a superhero and saving the world, others of becoming an astronaut to see the galaxy, fight aliens, and leave their mark on the moon. As a person grows up, their dreams grow with them. An adult dreams of a promising career, building a strong family, finding a loving partner, traveling, and much more. Unlike a child, however, an adult is capable of taking the actions that can make that dream come true.
Of course, it happens that a child carries their childhood dream into adulthood and turns it into a goal, but this is a great rarity. And not all adults turn their childhood dreams into reality. Why? Because some fear failure, while for others, the opinion of society is more important than their own. Do not be afraid of your desires, and even more so, do not be afraid of public opinion. If you have a dream, do everything to make it a reality. A dream is a compass and has no boundaries. By fulfilling your dream, you will become the happiest person on earth. This is what prompted me to sit down and start writing a story to achieve my childhood-adult dream.
My dream is to adapt inspiring literary works, make films about the great feats of great people, and create art. Directing is a vast world that it gifts to the viewer. It is truly a gift, because a director is an amazing person capable of creating another reality. They force you to look at the world through their eyes, see the extraordinary in the ordinary, and help the audience see it too. It is yet another way to express oneself and leave something behind in this world.
First of all, I want to show and celebrate my homeland, my Kazakhstan, to the whole world. I want to make films about our great figures, about their feats, and tell the stories they lived so that their legacy remains until the end of time. I want to show the culture of my vast country. I want other people to see and feel my thoughts and feelings. To share joy or sorrow through the prism of my film.
