What I know about youth travel?
Youth tourism is a special type of travel, when young people prefer to relax in large companies united by a common goal of exploring the world and spending leisure time. It has a significant influence on the development of a young person as a worthy and harmoniously developed citizen of his country.
My funny story
Once while traveling , I found guys from my country on social networks who traveled in the same city where I was .It was a rainy day and I had a raincoat and a huge backpack.The moment I got off the subway , I get my phone and started texting them to set up a meeting place .Suddenly I heard two guys talking in my native language, one of them asked the other "how do you spell McDonald's"?When I looked at them, our eyes met.It was raining and I couldn't see them.Since we were all in raincoats.I smiled and went on looking for wifi to write to those guys from my country.When I found the wifi and texted them, they said they were at McDonald's!I laughed and went there.And I saw those guys on the road .It was funny to see them there.
Why I want to participate in this program?
The most important goal of my participation in the program is travelling and culture exchange.An opportunity to see America at such a young age.This program allows us to be happy and spend our youth traveling and being free .To be so free and not be afraid of other people's judgments. Taking part in an international cultural exchange increases the students' chances of employability, but it also helps us gain skills for their future jobs. Employers value virtues such as adaptability, cultural awareness, tolerance and so-called “transversal skills”.
A person must have dreams come true. Many people dream of traveling.I dream of visiting all continents. Get acquainted with the cultures of peoples who live in different parts of the world. See the ocean. Swim in all the seas of the world. See the coldest and warmest countries.
I will bring souvenirs and memories from my travels. Be sure to share your impressions with friends and relatives. Perhaps they will also get carried away with my dream. And then we will travel in a friendly company of like-minded people. Returning home, you bring with you a piece of the place you visited. And it stays forever.
Sharing my culture
Kazakhstan is a multinational, multicultural country. But despite such a mixture of cultures, each nation of Kazakhstan carefully preserves its own cultural traditions and customs. I want to take our traditional clothes and jewelry with me when I go to the United States to show the world how beautiful our culture is.Even in our country I try to wear our traditional clothes,hats and jewelry. My friend has a traditional jewelry store, I support and help her with her business . I am glad that our young people are so proud of our culture.
How participation in the program will help me in my future career?
My profession is a teacher of two foreign languages: English and Turkish.We have a similar culture with the Republic of Turkey, so it will be quite easy to teach Turkish.But I also need to teach English.The language of a country that I have not visited and have not felt the atmosphere of this country.That's why I want to take part in this program to experience this moment filled with knowledge that will help me reach the very top of my career.So that my students in the future can speak this language fluently and travel the world without a language barrier. I will tell them about my story and motivate them to know this language in the best quality and be eager to see this wonderful world.After all, traveling gives us happiness and an immeasurable amount of cool moments, experience and knowledge.
What can be improved in exchange programs?
I asked my brother, who participated in the Work and Travel 2022 program, what he would like to change in the program, and friends who visited America thanks to this program.I have identified several of their problems.
The first is medical students who were supposed to be in America before the beginning of June, but their exams were not over yet, so they had to take exams ahead of schedule, which was a little inconvenient for them.You can think about your situation and decide to come a little later, because of your studies, with the consent of a respected employer.
The second change is the huge number of people from the USSR to the same state. When they meet each other, they speak their native language.Don't make improvements in English.In addition, the cultural exchange will not be as expected.Because they have almost the same culture.I think it's worth sending them to different states of the country for their own good.
In general, this program is an ideal opportunity for young people to travel and explore the world , gain experience and exchange culture. It is especially important to choose the right company to successfully participate in the program.That’s why I choose InterExchange!!!
What will be the exchange programs in twenty or fifty years?
I think that in twenty or fifty years the exchange programs will become even better.As well that more than a couple million students will become participants of the program.I believe that you will become an even bigger company and help students make their dreams come true.Helping young people to be self-confident and independent people.
I also hope that the company will have its own transport and planes for exchange students.There will also be tours organized all over America to travel with you!I believe in our bright future.Let's always stay young at heart!
