The bus dropped us off at the airport. The first thing we did was call our manager, and oh, miracle, it turns out there's no work right now, we have to wait. When asked "How long?" the vague response was "We'll call you right away." "And what about housing?" – "We have an option - a room for $800 a month."
Everything is clear, once again I trusted Russians. It's my own fault. There's no turning back. It's already 7 PM outside, which means we're sleeping at the airport tonight. And tomorrow? Well, tomorrow is another day.
What do we have?
Cons: we are in deep trouble. We have about $600 left for the two of us, which isn't even enough to rent a place for a month. The employer ditched us and we are in an unfamiliar city again.
Pros: we are in Miami, and we have our youth and inexhaustible enthusiasm.
After grabbing a couple of burgers, we found internet access and started thinking about how to get out of this situation. On the vastness of the World Wide Web, we found a couple of guys renting a room for a fairly low price in Miami Beach. At dawn, we set off to explore this famous beach city.
