As strange as it may sound, today was the first time this summer I made it to the beach))) I don't live that far from the ocean, but it still takes me about 50 minutes to bike there, and since I already bike to work and back every day, I don't really want to overexert myself.
But today we went for a walk in New York with my new acquaintance Vika, who lives near me in Moscow. And while we were there, we decided to stop by the beach. We went to Coney Island because some friends of hers live nearby, who also came through Work and Travel USA. But they didn't go to their employer at the time and stayed in New York. As a result, the guy had his J-1 Visa revoked, and the girl, it seems, hasn't yet. They're struggling with work; the girl couldn't find a job for a long time, and the guy is working as a busboy, I think... Later, the girl found a similar job, so overall, life isn't exactly sweet for them) I concluded for myself that it's better to go with an offer where you're expected than to turn down a job, look for a new one, and have visa problems... Not just now, but in the future as well.
Well, that's enough about others, I should write something about myself for a change) I was absolutely thrilled at the beach; my silly dream finally came true - I swam in the ocean!!!)) I just couldn't contain my emotions, and as I walked into the blue water, I shouted with joy - OCEAAN!!!))) The guys were so surprised that I hadn't been to the beach even once all summer))) But time was passing, my new acquaintances had to go, and Vika and I were left alone. Sigh, I'm green with envy of those guys)) They came here together, and even if their life isn't the sweetest right now, at least they have each other... I miss my favorite person so much here... But unfortunately, he couldn't come here on Work and Travel USA, and now I'm here alone. And they are so cute together, supporting each other... well, okay, let's not talk about sad things)
The guys left, and Vika and I started taking photos) How could we not? And then, passing by the amusement park, we couldn't resist and rode one of the rollercoasters. That was so cool))) Now I'm really fired up to go to Six Flags, I really, really want to ride some cool attractions))
