Boulder, Colorado
Not far from Denver in the state of Colorado lies the city of Boulder. I've been told that owning property there is quite expensive and prestigious. Nearby are ski resorts, universities, plenty of shops and restaurants—well, as is typical in America, everything you need for life. Since all small towns are similar, there is, of course, a local 'Arbat' where everyone idly wanders, sings songs or listens to street musicians, and buys balloons, soda, and ice cream for themselves and their kids. It's a small, amusing street. Lots of greenery, quite colorful, bright flags, signs, and dressed-up people.
I really love these fair-like streets. You dance along to the music of barefoot guitarists, try on hats at one corner and colorful beads at another, zoom in to photograph the faces of street performers, children, or laughing people, and then sit on some ledge, take water and peaches out of your bag, look up at the blue sky, and think that life is beautiful!
