They say if you really, really want something, the whole Universe will conspire to help you. Well, it's true. Despite all the difficulties, all the doubts, all the skeptical remarks from friends and family like "you won't find a job there," "oh, you found one? well, that means they definitely won't give you a visa, they don't give them to anyone...", "they gave it to you after all?? yeah right, you won't earn any money, you won't cover the program costs..."... well, you know how it goes... despite everything - we did it!! No, that's not it... WE DID IT!! That's more like it! YES, we got the visa. YES, we managed to find a job in Florida. YES, we spent the best summer in Miami. And, attention... YES, we covered the program costs! This is a story about how my friend and I spent two months on the other side, in a completely different world, unlike our own - in the USA...
