Finally, my contract status on my profile shows "OK". Yay!) My friends already got their confirmation, so now I can go pick up my passport. I really want to see my US visa, it's so exciting :)

Preparing my parents for the trip seems to have paid off; Mom is already picking out what I should wear, which sneakers to buy, etc.) It makes me happy :)

And today we seem to have sorted out our flights. It turns out we're flying on June 5th from Moscow to Rome, which is 4 hours, then a 1 hour 40 minute layover, and another 9 hours 35 minutes to New York. Yeah, the dream of walking around Rome has gone down the drain... But at least there's some certainty now.

Although our friends who went last year say the tickets could easily be changed again. I hope that doesn't happen, I really want to get things settled already.

And honestly, it still hasn't sunk in that there's so little time left)

Also, last week I went to Starbucks for the first time. I loved it! The atmosphere, the guys and girls at the neighboring tables who are somehow subtly different, the amazing aroma of coffee... Wonderful. I think I'll be writing my term paper there)))
