Proof of Student Status

To confirm your status as a student, you should contact the dean's office of your university and request a certificate confirming that you are a student at that institution. This is an official document issued by your university and signed by an authorized person (for example, the dean or secretary of the faculty). The certificate must include information about your studies: current course of study, department, form of study, and start and end dates. It is important to note that the certificate can be signed not only manually, but also with a digital signature, for example, through a QR code, which confirms the authenticity of the document. Both forms of the certificate, manually signed or digitally signed, are accepted for participation in the program. In addition to the original certificate in your native language, you will need a translation into English. The translation must be the same as the original, but it does not need to be notarized. The original certificate and its translation must be submitted with the other documents for the program. If you need help translating your certificate, don't worry! The IEC representative in your city will be able to help you with this issue and make sure that the translation is correct and meets all requirements. This set of documents will confirm your status as a student and is an important step in preparing for your visa application and participation in the Work and Travel USA program.
