Employer Matching - Full Service

When you participate in the Work and Travel USA Full Service program, the program sponsor (InterExchange) helps you find a job. The entire process takes place through your personal account on the sponsor's website and consists of two main steps that you can combine for the best results. Stage One: Active job search At this stage you are actively looking for an employer yourself and submit your application form for consideration. 1. Go to the sponsor's website and log in to your personal account. 2. In the Job Listings section, you'll see a list of available jobs. Use the filters to search by region, job type, salary and other parameters. This will help you find the offers you are most interested in. 3. As soon as you find a suitable employer, send them your application form. It will only be available to that employer for three days. During this time, your profile will not be visible to other employers. 4. The employer will review your application and offer you a job or reject it. If it is rejected, simply choose the next employer and repeat the process. If several employers don't offer you a job, you can move on to step two. Stage Two: Passive job search This stage is easier, here you leave your profile in the system and wait for employers to start selecting you. 1. Leave your profile in the system and wait for employers to start looking at it. 2. In your personal profile, you'll be able to see which employers are viewing your profile and until what date they will review it. 3. When an employer offers you a job, you'll receive an email notification with details: salary, position, hours, etc. 4. Accept or refuse: If you are satisfied with the offer, sign the Job Offer. If not, you can refuse and continue your search. Combined approach We recommend combining both methods described above. Even if you mainly rely on passive search, use active search from time to time. We also recommend selecting a reasonably broad range of preferences for U.S. regions and types of work. This allows your application to be included in a larger number of suitable matches. It is important to understand that a specific city, state, employer, or position under the Full Service option is not guaranteed. Available options depend on vacancies in the current season and employers' decisions. Virtual job fair From December through February, the sponsor hosts virtual job fairs. This is a great opportunity to have personal interviews with employers who are interested in hiring. Most employers at the fair recruit through interviews. If you are interested in attending the fair, contact an IEC representative for more information. Important points: * Data accuracy: Make sure the information in the questionnaire is current and accurate. * Check your mail: Check your email and personal account regularly so you don't miss important notifications. * Coordinator Support: If there are difficulties or questions, contact the program coordinator. * Preferences by location and position: You can change your preferences in your personal account, which will increase the number of available offers from employers. This combined approach to your job search can greatly speed up the process and give you more choices. Related topics: - Who is the sponsor of the program? - Full Service Option
